Program Description

Families First is Utah’s premier in-home behavioral intervention program with proven results. Our specialists meet parents and youth in their homes to teach them skills that change unwanted behaviors, empower parents, and improve family well-being.

How it Works

A specialist works with a family and its members, together and individually several times a week for about 12 weeks on average.  While in the home, they act as an ally of the parents and a mentor to the family, teaching proven methods of the Teaching-Family Model for changing behaviors.

Who We Serve

We serve families all across the state with parents that have a variety of needs and have child(ren) with a range of variety of behavioral and/or emotional problems.

How We Measure Success

We track the success of Families First by adhering to the accreditation requirements of the Teaching-Family Model and The Council on Accreditation (COA), tracking client outcomes, and utilizing consumer evaluations.
