The mission of the Utah Youth Village is to “heal and elevate the lives of the populations we serve.” Our founder, Lila Bjorklund, believed if we helped on child, we’d help generations to come.
Utah Youth Village is comprised of four divisions and is one of Utah’s largest and most respected nonprofits. The Village provides support services to youth and families facing challenging life circumstances using evidence based solutions to positively influence healthy behaviors.
Our dedicated and well-trained staff provides services to thousands of youth and families each year via our Treatment Foster Care homes; in-home therapeutic services in every county in Utah in our Families First program, two residential therapy campuses at Alpine Academy; mentoring program for Utah youth; and online parenting resources, customized coaching sessions, and individualized family plans conducted by the Smarter Parenting team.
